There are 22 standard amino acids, which are the building blocks of protein, but we only use 20 of the existing 22. We synthesize eleven amino acids, however the other nine amino acids must be obtained from your dietary intake.

It breaks the bond between amino acids in proteins. Water readily dissolves other substrates and this attribute is used to transport substances through the body. Water is a fundamental component of blood plasma, tissue fluid and lymph. Water is the medium that is used by the body to carry a wide range of substances such as red blood cells that carry oxygen, platelets used for clotting, as well as minerals, which can then be easily transported and made available to the body cells.

Superb Book For Keeping The Body Healty - A Must Read Book!

This book has just the right information regarding Carbs, Fats, Proteins, Water & Minerals. It brings out important facts about each of these categories and for me, placed a new way at looking at my health. After my first read of this book, I realized that I was not getting enough water (too many Cola drinks), the wrong types of carbs, and so much more.
This book has inspired me so much that I am throwing out many of my JUNK TYPE FOODS and the cola drinks and going to be eating what is best for my body!

Great book, and for me, I will continue to use this as a helpful reference book.

This is a must have book is you are concerned about your health and your nutrition!

An essential nutrient is required for normal body functioning. There are 6 essential nutrients that your body needs on a daily bases and these are: carbohydrates, fats, proteins, water, vitamins and minerals .These 6 essential nutrients can be divided into two categories: macronutrients and micronutrients. Macronutrients include carbohydrates, fats, proteins and water. Micronutrients are comprised of vitamins and minerals and are different from macronutrients because they are needed in only small amounts. Nevertheless, micronutrients are essential for normal metabolism, growth and physical well-being. eating a balanced diet is important to get all vital nutrients this BOOk IS GREAT ON DESCRIBING THE role OF health and disease prevention. A balanced diet whole grains, fruits, vegetables, meat and dairy foods is the best way of ensuring that you are getting all these nutrients.

It talks about at carbohydrates, fats, water, proteins, vitamins and minerals and the role they play in our bodies.This book breaks down the various vitamins, minerals, supplements in a simple and easy to read of what a vitamin is, how it works in our body, and what specifically each vitamin, mineral, or supplement does; and what amount is recommended each day.It is also important to recognize to the people that are vegetarian that all plants do not have all of the essential amino acids. Learn why good carbohydrates made from whole grains are healthier than bad carbohydrates such as enriched white flour. I highly recommend this book to my family and friends.

Not terrible.

Measured against the much lowered expectations of BWWM romances, this is a good book. Of course it's too short, and there's no real conflict in the story, but I liked it. The writing was appropriate for a published novel in English, the characters were described well enough that I had a good sense of their physical appearance and personality and were likeable, the match made sense and the sex scenes were good. The Bioexpa process was belabored a bit more than necessary and there was too much telling vs. showing. If this was a mainstream romance I would have given it a 2/5, but BWWM romance being what it is I give this a 3.5/5.

I am so digging this series! It's like match.com on acid! Can you imagine signing up with a company who guarantees you a 99.9% love match? Sign me up!!!

This story is futuristic without it feeling like you're reading about aliens on the planet Voltron or something....There's a new way of finding a love match, and the way it's done is wild as hell...

Book 1 is Jakob and Sienna's story. Jakob already has a girlfriend who convinces him to register with Bioexpa so that they can be formally matched and married. Well, it don't quite work that way cause ol girl was not Jakob's match. It was his sister's BFF Sienna. Welp!!!

Sienna's been crushing on Jakob since she was a teenager, so this was literally a match made in heaven for her. The only obstacle-that stank girlfriend of Jakob. Click it up to find out what happens...

Great concept but a little disappointed in the execution

This was such an interesting idea that fell a little flat in the execution. The book is a novella so maybe that contributed? Maybe if there was more word space some of the intriguing stuff could have gotten fleshed out more. This was a book that was begging for some sort of world building.

Like I said, the set up and concept of this is so fascinating. Also it had the potential to explore a really juicy romantic dilemma. Jakob has signed an iron clad contract that says he needs to marry the woman the company has matched him with (there is a 30-day trial period the couple can invoke and annul the marriage during that time -- but this is rare). But he is in love with someone else. So what trumps? His own feelings or the assessment of a computer? Does the computer know him better than he know himself? Or since he is the one that filled out the questionnaire, is it just that the computer just fulfilling Jakob's subconscious desires? How does he decide what to believe?

The author kinda skates over that. The problem is, all of that gets handled a little too facilely. The author went the easy route, imo. The girlfriend, Ella, gets dispatched a little to simply and the road is clear for Jakob and Sienna to discover each other. I would have liked a bit more struggle with his feelings. A deeper look at what went into the match. Why these two? And I would have liked for Ella to not simply be collateral damage. And she was in more ways than one.

This is why I think the length worked against the book. It would have been fascinating to read more about the process than the couple of pages we got in the first chapter. It would have been interesting to get a stronger idea of just how BioExpa had infiltrated society & psyche to such an extent that people had essentially gone from an 'love match' society to an 'arranged match' society in the space of seventy years.

That said, the book was sweet and Jakob and Sienna were a fine couple once they got over their awkwardness with each other.

There are a lot of fun songs here. Arrangements are well-done. My favorite is "Uma Thurman", which simply lets you pound away at the piano. People love to hear me playing this stuff, especially when something they are expecting classical.

A pretty coloring book

This is a really nice coloring book. There are a variety of faces, some minimalist and others more elaborate, and art is done by a number of different artists. Most are of pretty women with flowing hair or surrounded by flowers and leaves or swirls and the like. Some are of younger girls with big eyes, though not really Manga. Almost all are artsy or fashion-y.

I wouldn't mind another compilation like this, but I do wish the paper was a bit more substantial. Fortunately the back side of images are blank pages, so no fear of marker bleeding through. (It does bleed through the back, though, so be forewarned, but it's easy enough to slip a sheet of paper between the page being colored and the next page in the book so it doesn't risk being marred by ink.) The page texture works better for coloring pencil, I've found. I think it'd work very well for crayons, too. The paper soaks up the marker ink nicely for a vivid image -- be careful drawing in lines, because depending on the marker you could see some bleed outside the lines -- but the "feel" of the paper works really well for colored pencil so one can do more shading and layering of colors, etc.

One of the images was a touch pixelated, which I was a bit disappointed by, but there are many images to have fun coloring. I've been cutting them out with a box cutter so I can more easily color the pages I want, so another nicety would have been perforations to tear images out, but overall, a nice book, and I really love the pictures in it. It's exactly what I've been looking for in a coloring book. It's great for anyone who loves to color images of women's faces and flowers and swirls, etc. Perfect for a young girl or a grownup who loves to color.

AWESOME ADULT COLORING BOOK WITH PRETTY FACES

Adult coloring has become my therapy. I love it. That being said, the only adult color book I have truly enjoyed coloring is Fanciful Faces. I have been searching and searching for a book with interesting faces to color. I just ordered this one, "Faces Coloring Book" by Nick Snels and it is AWESOME!!! It beats the Fanciful Faces coloring book by FAR!!! I LOVE IT!!! Highly recommend. I hope he does a Volume 2.....and.....3.......4.......
