The nuts and bolts, and so much more

At first I was overwhelmed by this book. It is crammed full of technical information, and I do not work in any medical field. But then I took a trip to Mexico for some dental work, with a side visit to a podiatrist and an ophthalmologist.
Having the book with me gave me a resource that kept me in the conversation. It enabled me to ask better questions with each appointment. However, it wasn’t until I shared my experience with other potential patients that I realized the value of this book.
Anyone interested in finding healthcare outside of the United States does so because they have some medical need. Most topics about medical tourism and facilitating medical tourism could be referenced in this book.
One of my friends has issues with his knees. He asked if I had information about orthopedics in Mexico. Before consulting the clinic, I read the pages in Todd’s book on orthopedics. This book allowed me to have a constructive conversation with the clinic and my friend, their potential patient.
I am impressed with the level of detail regarding care for patients. The book touches on hotels, connections, recovery, flying after surgery, and much more. The book gives insight into what hospitals require to make everything run smoothly. It covers the most important facets of medical tourism facilitation.
Finally, I like the first person narrative. The writer’s expertise shines through the technical pages.
If you are considering becoming a medical tourism facilitator this book is a must-have. It is the nuts and bolts, and so much more.

Having met Maria Todd in person convinced me to by this book.
Highly valuable content for any person in the medical tourism.
I wish I had known this book earlier.
But be warned the content can be overwhelming, there is so much to learn and consider.
